About the event
Fictions of Every Kind returns on Wednesday October 5th for another evening of prose fiction, storytelling, and music from our wonderful House Band. The theme is 'Friends'.
The prose open mic will be open for contributions of prose of any type. Anyone is welcome to sign up, just give your name at the door.
Featuring invited reader Sara Sherwood, whose short fiction has featured in Test Signal, Let Me Know When You're Home, and has been shortlisted for the Bridport Prize. She also runs Write Like A Grrrl, a six week creative writing course for women and non-binary writers. Follow her on Instagram and Twitter @sarasherwood.
Music will come from our excellent House Band. Thank you Robb, Vinnie, Bryn and Mike for providing us with songs for this event.
Suggested donation to come in £3 but nobody turned away for lack of funds.
