About the event

Join us on February 1st at Heart in Headingley for our next writers' social, with invited reader John Biglands, prose open mic, and music from our fabulous House Band, all on the theme of 'Heroes'.

John Biglands is a writer from West Yorkshire. He loves wild woodland, honest conversations, beautiful music and sleeping cats. Preferably there is a log fire and a mug of tea involved too. His stories have been published in Existere, Cranked Anvil and Havok and listed for the Bath short story award, Writers of the Future and the Love Reading very short story award.
