Sign up to our Writers' open mic from 19.30 on the night, at which true stories, flash fiction, short fiction, and excerpts of larger work all are welcome. Please keep your contributions at 5 minutes or under - don't make us ring our dreaded BELL at you! **SPECIAL OFFER FOR PROSE WRITERS** do you want to read a part of your work at Fictions, but aren't sure how much / what to read? We will help you choose a section. Send us a 2000 word excerpt of your work, and we'll give it a read and suggest which section/s you should go for to make the best use of your slot. Send to northernshortstoryfestival@gmail.com Please note, the reading will not be a full critique, and merely will be us suggesting which bit we think would work well read aloud. Entry to Fictions of Every Kind: Elements is £3 * Please note: Wharf Chambers is a members club, and you must be a member to attend an event here. Joining costs £1 and takes a minimum of 48 hours to take effect. To join, see www.wharfchambers.org/join
