Monday 18th February, 7.30,

Wharf Chambers, £4 Invited speakers: JUNE TAYLOR & TINA JACKSON.

JUNE TAYLOR is a psychological thriller writer from Leeds. Her first book Losing Juliet was nominated for the Not the Booker Prize 2017. Keep Your Friends Close is her second novel for HarperCollins Killer Reads. June is on the Board of Script Yorkshire and enjoys adventures in her campervan. TINA JACKSON is a writer, journalist and performer based in Leeds, where she works at Writing Magazine. She's the author of Stories from the Chicken Foot House, a collection of grungey magical tales, and the forthcoming history of Leeds women, Struggle and Suffrage in Leeds. As ever, there will be a writers' open mic, and the FIctions of Every Kind House Band. Please keep your open mic contributions at 5 minutes or under - don't make us ring our dreaded bell at you! We suggest practising reading your piece out at home beforehand, and timing yourself. Entry for this event is £4. However, we offer free entry for carers, and will turn nobody away for lack of funds. Please note: Wharf Chambers is a members' club, and you must be a member, or guest of a member, to attend an event here. Joining costs £1 and takes a minimum of 48 hours to take effect. Visit to join. The Facebook events page is here.
